Institutional anti-ragging policy statement
Our College has a strict zero-tolerance policy towards ragging in any form. Ragging is a punishable offense under the law and is strictly prohibited within and outside the campus. We are committed to ensuring a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for all students. Any student found involved in ragging will face strict disciplinary action, including expulsion, rustication, suspension, or criminal proceedings as per UGC regulations and the Anti-Ragging Act.
Guidelines and Rules to Prevent Ragging
Important regulations for students
No student shall engage in or support any act of ragging inside or outside the campus.
Physical abuse, verbal abuse, harassment, or any behavior that causes discomfort to another student is strictly prohibited.
New students must be treated with respect and dignity at all times.
Any complaint of ragging will be treated with utmost seriousness and confidentiality.
Students are required to report any incident of ragging immediately to the Anti-Ragging Committee or Vidyaone College authorities.
Disciplinary action will be taken against perpetrators as per UGC guidelines and the law.
Display of anti-ragging posters and awareness notices across the campus is mandatory.
All students must submit an anti-ragging affidavit during admission.
